Tecate has bold, deep earth, and herbal flavors framed by an almost muscular sense of nutty maltiness. Yet despite Tecate’s obvious power, the refined use of citrusy/bitter hops give the beer a terrific aromatic “lift” so the flavor never comes off heavy or harsh. Straightforward, seamless and satisfying. Tecate’s great flavor and bold taste shoud be enjoyed as an experience of its own, it is recommend serving it chilled (36 degrees), and occasionally with a squeeze of lime.
